With the mailing lists up and running now you will never need to miss another training session!

There are two mailing lists setup, one for general news and information and one for training information.  The “News” mailing list will probably be only one or two emails a month.  The training email list will (hopefully) get much busier than this as the season goes on.  You can subscribe to either one, two or none as suits.

To subscribe please go to the subscribe page here.  Note if you have been receiving emails from us previously the chances are that you are already subscribed as the emails we had on file have been set up on both lists by default.  Check your email account to see if you have received a welcome email already from us, if not please go ahead and sign up.

Don’t forget you can also keep in touch with updates to this website via the RSS subscribe button on the homepage.  If you are not sure what this is check out this article which gives a good overview of RSS for beginners.

Hi,
My family and I will be visiting the Kenmare area the last two weeks of June 2009 and would be interested in hearing if there are any planned triathlon events at that time. Also, we are reluctant to bring the bikes along with the golf clubs so I am wondering if there is a place to rent a good road bike. Thanks,

Hi there

Just wondering if the Sunday cycle is still going out at the moment. Also what distance do you go.

Thanks,
Tina

Tina,

I don’t think so at the moment…

Cold and laziness has caught up I think. The best advice would be to subscribe to training mailing list and/or keep an eye for newer posts to this site for the latest info.

Any club members that would be interested in joining a local Watt Bike
racing league to be held in killarney or killorglin can respond to this
topic expressing their interest to
killarneycycles@gmail.com

Classes will use the latest indoor cycling Watt Bikes linked upto a projector to
allow racing against others in the class over endurance and sprint events.

As well as the racing league the bikes provide a valuable training aid
that can perfect the cycling technique and obtain acurate power output
figures to monitor progress.

Classes will contain 16 bikes and will be available for all those
over 4ft 10” – typically over 11′s.
Great for those long winter evenings.

For futher information on the Watt Bike features visit
