Swim at Star sailing at 11am followed by Inca 10k run at 1pm. (No I’ve no idea what “Key Training” means either – Robert co-ordinating).
Unfortunately due to bad weather this has had to be rescheduled to August 16th. In addition to the big swim there will also be a smaller 1km swim taking place.

For the second year the Dundag Masters are hosting the 2.87 km swim across Muckross Lake. This year the swim is in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

This is a great event and for a great cause however please note there are a number of terms and conditions as per the Dundag Masters website. With the summer so good so far Roger promises balmy water temperatures as well!
The inaugural Kerry Head Triathlon takes place on Saturday 5th September at Ballyheigue Village, Co Kerry. The event will begin at 12.00. This is a charity event to raise funds for Enable Ireland Kerry Services.
The Kerry Head Triathlon is open to first time triathletes and experienced athletes. The team relay also allows first timers to share the disciplines between them.
The race is a sprint distance event which includes a 750m sea swim beginning from Ballyheigue Beach, a 20km cycle around Kerry Head and a 5km run through Ballyheigue village.

Entry Fee €15 – Registration from 12.30pm
Route starting in community centre Kenmare to Sheen Falls, turn up Ashgrove, turn left at the top then left again when you meet the road and back around Roughty and back to Kenmare.
