Dear Club secretaries,

The Loughrea tri 2010 will take place this year on Sunday September 12th in and around the Loughrea Lake in Co Galway.

With a Sprint distance, a Women try a tri and a Juniors Event held on the day.

In the Sprint Triathlon (750/20/5) , alone we expect to have over 500 entries making it one of the largest and friendliest triathlons West of the Shannon and we expect to sell fast based on previous years' success.

We are also hosting a Women Try-a-Tri  for Women beginners who want to start dipping their feet into the Triathlon scene with a reduced distance race ( 300m swim, 6km bike & 2km run)

A junior event will also be held ( The swims vary from 100 meters to 150 meters, the cycle will vary between 2 & 4 kilometres and the run from 1km to 2km)
