Hi Guys, Joanne (my wife) and I are looking for help down your end of the world. Jo is planning to run from Malin to Mizen head and we need people to run bits of it with her. We also need witnesses (can be the runner) and support (is our route the right one from your local knowledge). So can you post this on your Clubs e-mail list or website please? Jo’s address is also included in this e-mail. Thanks Niall O Crualaoich Here are the links to Jo’s run and planned Malin to Mizen site. We have done up a route plan And the discussion on Boards.ie http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055899217&page=2 and roughly speaking, the best case pacing is Start Friday 21 May 2010 Saturday 22 May 2010 Sunday 23 May 2010 Monday 24 May 2010 Tuesday 25 May 2010 Although we might be a lot slower than this. The pacing is all just guesswork. The plan is to start running as soon as it gets bright and aim for 125km per day with a mixture of running and walking. We are looking for running and tri clubs along the way to get involved and either run with Joanne or be there as a witness. Contact details are on the Blog. Talk soon Niall O Crualaoich |
