DO YOU KNOW THE NEXT EMMA DAVIS OR GAVIN NOBLE? Find Out at the Talent Identification Day on Saturday 15th May 2010 in Wicklow

Triathlon Ireland are holding a talent identification day in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, on Saturday 15th May, 2010 from 11.30-6pm.
TI are looking for talented juniors and age-group athletes who reach the required standards in swim and run time trials. A number of spots in TI’s Junior Development Program are on offer for talented young athletes.
If you know of an athlete interested in attending please read the attached letter for further details about the day and the required standards. The day will consist of a presentation on performance triathlon, a swim time trial and finish with the run time trial in the afternoon.
The swim will take place in the Shoreline Pool in Greystones, Co. Wicklow and the run at the Charlesland Running Track, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
The TI Junior Development Programme is growing from strength to strength since its inception, and now has a number of talented athletes attending training camps abroad and racing for Ireland internationally. Athletes who attain the required standard will be invited to join a Regional Junior Squad – East, West or North and also potentially attain a place in the National Junior Squad.
The regional squads are capably led by TI’s accredited Regional Coaches, under the guidance of TI’s Assistant Coach Elena Maslova. The Junior Development Program has been developed by TI Performance Director Chris Jones, who still plays a very active role in its operation.

To register an athlete, please go to the survey link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WW6THXG

Feel free to circulate, print and post the poster and information in an area where young athletes may see it.
