Hi all,

Just a quick note asking if you could inform your club members that the Brian Boru Tri Challenge online entry will be closing Thursday week, 5th July, at 6pm sharp.  It promises to be a great day (& night!) with some fantastic spot prizes up for grabs as well; e.g. a Merida Road Race 901-18 bicyle or a 3-month consultation with a sports nutritionist to name a few.

Entry includes t-shirt, goody bag, free food at the post-race BBQ and a memorable race course ;-).  There will also be a splash & dash event for 12-16 year olds before the main event.  See www.brianborutrichallenge.com for more details.

I was wondering if you could forward this mail to your triathlon club members to see if they are interested in doing Clonakilty Duathlon on 19th September 2010. Just to let you know Entries for Clonakilty Triathlon Club Duathlon went online today on Run Ireland. (see link below)

  The distances will be 3km run, 20km cycle and 3km run. This is the first Clonakilty Triathlon club event and will be a push to hold a Triathlon in Clonakilty in 2011.

  All details include the cycle and run route are on the Run Ireland website.

Club Secretaries,Just wanted to let you and your clubs know the Caroline Kearney Memorial Triathlon is now open for registration. I’d appreciate if you could forward to your members.

 Caroline Kearney Memorial Triathlon, August 14th 2010: Now in its fourth year, the location and the course are pretty much etched in stone, so it’s still a fast swim, out and back in the lake, a short trip to transition and two laps of a flat bike course (ok, two short hills and a bit of a drag, but seriously fast everywhere else) and a single lap run on tarmac with a section along a gravel track. We’re back again in Lilliput Adventure Centre on the shores of Lough Ennell, just outside Mullingar. As in previous years, entry fees are competitively priced, with individual entry at €60 and a relay team of three for only €85 for Triathlon Ireland members. Registration and timing is provided by Precision Timing. For further details please visit www.midlandtri.com

		Loughrea Triathlon 2010 now open
		
	        
Dear Club secretaries, 
  The Loughrea tri 2010 will take place this year on Sunday September 12th in and around the Loughrea Lake in Co Galway. 
  With a Sprint distance, a Women try a tri and a Juniors Event held on the day. 
  In the Sprint Triathlon (750/20/5) , alone we expect to have over 500 entries making it one of the largest and friendliest triathlons West of the Shannon and we expect to sell fast based on previous years' success. 
  We are also hosting a Women Try-a-Tri  for Women beginners who want to start dipping their feet into the Triathlon scene with a reduced distance race ( 300m swim, 6km bike & 2km run)
  A junior event will also be held ( The swims vary from 100 meters to 150 meters, the cycle will vary between 2 & 4 kilometres and the run from 1km to 2km)
