The AGM for Kenmare Tri Club will be held on November 20th at 6:00pm at the Brook Lane Hotel.
It is very important for the club that as many as possible attend the AGM to show your support, provide oversight and get involved. We are actively looking for new faces to join the committee for next year also.
Look forward to see you all there.

Tim Barry will be coming back down to us on Friday, 11th November for a two hour session on Bike Setup and Winter Training. What is a good plan for the winter, what you should be aiming for to both get started and/or improve on your previous performances.

Anyone thinking of doing the Turbo Training on Monday 31/10. It is a Bank Holiday so if we get no response we won’t do it as many of the people who would be doing it are away. Leave a note in the comments below if you are definitely hoping to do it.

Turbo Training is recommencing this coming Monday, 24 October. It will be every Monday & Friday from then on. We’ve a lot of new recorded training sessions and a new setup for the video so it should be great. Most importantly it perfect for beginners as well as those who have done it before as everyone can take it at a pace that suits them.
The location is the Kilmurry Business Park and each session lasts for one hour at a cost of €2. Bring water and a towel!!! Members only.

New this year is the construction of The Eclipse Assault Course. This is one of only a very few privately owned courses in the country. This course is ‘rustic and tough’ and designed to condition and test the endurance of visitors who seek the thrill of ‘challenge’ both to their abilities as individuals and as leaders.
Course delivers many benefits for participating individuals and teams that includes:
Total Body Toning: Every muscle group is worked when tackling the assault course whilst enhancing balance and co-ordination.
Builds strength, speed and endurance: The variation of physical challenges help to develop a more balanced, stronger team player.
Builds leadership: by enriching the qualities needed for any winning team.
Team Bonding: Close encounters with the challenge course inspires direction and focus for team development.
Team Building: The team have to and rely on each other to work as a unit to complete the course. This transforms directly on to the sporting field.
Confidence Building: The ability to self-motivate and give confidence to other team members towards a common goal promotes team confidence to overcome competitive adversity.
A great outdoor alternative: that helps prevent boredom in the gym and provides a refreshing change to just running around the pitch! This helps teams get focussed, tuned in and enthusiastic to train.
Ideal for sports clubs: The Eclipse Assault Course is an ideal way to break the train-match-train-match cycle and is great fun for any time of the year.
